Shivi Tripathi to Present Youth Vaping and Substance Abuse Research at GAB 2026

The 7th Edition of the Global Conference on Addiction Medicine, Behavioral Health and Psychiatry (GAB 2026)  organized by Magnus Group is pleased to feature Shivi Tripathi in its scientific program as a virtual oral presenter.

Shivi Tripathi is a senior in the IB Program at Eastside High School in Gainesville, Florida, with an aspiration to pursue a career in public health. Her research focuses on teen vaping and youth e-cigarette use, particularly the influence of interpersonal, institutional, and media-based factors on youth vaping behaviors.

Her research experience also includes work related to youth substance abuse through Stanford University’s REACH Lab. She has presented her research at conferences, including the 2025 National Conference on Tobacco or Health in Chicago.

Youth vaping and substance use remain important public health concerns, making research that examines behavioral, social, and environmental influences especially valuable. Shivi’s work contributes to the broader conversation surrounding youth health, prevention, behavioral health, and substance-use research.
